Links The Environment Agency commissioned the Broadland Flood Alleviation Project. It is the Environment Agency's job to look after your environment and make it a better place.
They make sure that everyone in today's society looks after the air, land and water so that tomorrow's generations inherit a cleaner, healthier world. Their work includes tackling flooding and pollution incidents, reducing industry's impacts on the environment, cleaning up rivers, coastal waters and contaminated land, and improving wildlife habitats.

Broadland Environmental Services Ltd is a company formed especially to carry out the BFAP. It is a consortium of two companies, the civil engineering contractor Edmund Nuttall Ltd and the consulting engineers Halcrow.
