Hickling wetland creation

Broadland Environmental Services Limited (BESL) are working with partners to create and enhance wetland habitats around Hickling Broad. Two separate schemes are currentley being developed:

Reedbed creation, construction of setback banks and raising water levels on the SOUTH side of Hickling Broad (Compartment 6 phase 2).

Reedbed creation, construction of setback banks, raising water levels and access improvements within Norfolk Wildlife Trusts nature reserve on the NORTH side of Hickling Broad (Compartment 6a phase 2).

Although the original deadline for consultation responses has passed we are happy to continue to receive comments over the summer months.
