Compartment 3 Planning Application granted

A planning application (reference: 2009/0202) for flood defence works was submitted to the Broads Authority in August 2009. This is for flood defence works on the right bank of the River Ant.

Planning permission was granted in September 2009. Works started in April 2010.

Compartment 25 Planning Application

A planning application (reference: 2010/0009) for flood defence works was submitted to the Broads Authority in January 2010. This is for flood defence works on the left bank of the River Waveney between Dunburgh Hill and Beccles. Permission was granted on March 29th 2010 the works started late spring 2010.

Compartment 25a Phase 2 planning application granted

A planning application (reference: 2009/0325) for flood defence works was submitted to the Broads Authority in November 2009. This is for flood defence works to protect Geldeston Marshes. Permission was granted on March 5th 2010. Works started late April 2010.

Compartment 6 Planning Application

A planning application (reference: 2010/0084) for the main flood defence works in Compartment 6 was submitted to the Broads Authority in March 2010. This is for defence works from Womack Water to Hickling Broad. A planning was granted May 21st 2010. Works will be starting at Womack Water in July this year.

Compartment 6a Main works planning application granted

A planning application (reference: 2009/0300) for flood defence works was submitted to the Broads Authority in November 2009. This is for defence works along Somerton Dyke, around Horsey Mere and at Hill Common, Hickling. Planning was granted on February 5th 2010. Works are due to commence 2010.
